+ Friendly stuff. Variety of food.
− Hotel doesn't clean beach of seaweed.
+ The hotel had a beautiful beach and was located in a peaceful portion of the hotel zone. The people outside who help with getting taxis are really nice.
− The package is not actually all inclusive. There are different tiers of inclusivity which we were not made aware of before reaching the hotel and therefore had to pay for things like room service. The quality of the food was not that great and was rather bland. It was like eating at a hospital. The hours for restaurants and bars are not 24x7. Not all restaurants are open every day and they do not stay open at night. There is one beach shack open through the night and it is terrible. Alcohol is not served after 1am. Most of the alcohol is pretty watered down anyways. The worst part was that the plumbing in Tower A broke down on our last night there and so the toilets, shower and tap did not work. We had to use the public restrooms in the hotel and were issued a room for 30 minutes to shower. They refused to move us to another room for the night. The beach chairs are slightly uncomfortable because they are flimsy. Also note, the north side of the zona hotelera has very calm water with small to nonexistent waves. If you want a beach with nicer waves, stay on the east facing side.
